Hey guys been lulling over this for a while now but might as well do it now or else I never will.
I've been racing in the ORL since Season 5 when I joined up along with my pals xDOMdaBOMx & elite mkb. In that time I've been in probably more than 100 races across GP, Rallycross, MW & I think a couple of MX races. I've also met alot of really nice people, with Alex, Adam, Unreal, Real Deal, Cameron just to name a few. At the same time I haven't always got on with certain people in the league but I always have respect for them, especially those who have tried to help this league grow and become more popular. This league has also definitely helped me with my Youtube channel due to several of you willingly choosing to compete on Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course.
Over the 6 seasons I've been involved I honestly didn't see myself as that good of a racer compared to others that competed in this league. But as time passed I started to grow and become a much more consistent driver thanks to the help of certain racers helping and giving me tips. I also have some great memories; from first joining in Season 5 to helping Dom set up our own team: Team Evolution, from Team Evolution's growth and success in Season 7 to Cameron taking over as Team Leader for Season 8, from my first ORL win during a Rallycross Race in Season 6 (although it might have been Season 7) to my consistent performances in GP season by season. Specifically in GP, I feel immensely proud that I was able to continually finish higher and higher in the final standings each season; from 7th in Season 5, to 6th in Season 6, to 4th in Season 7, to 3rd in Season 8 & then culminating with winning the GP division in the season just finished, beating several top drivers to the feat as well.
After all this I therefore feel very sad to announce that I am leaving the ORL, the reality of it is that with all the things going on my life, what with continuing my apprenticeship and passing my exams in order to become a Qualified Chartered Accountant, looking to further build my Youtube Channel and also now being involved with ITV's Ninja Warrior UK as a contestant, I just don't have enough spare time anymore to race consistently week in week out. Despite this, I will be keeping up with what is going on on the website and trying to keep up to date with the league, plus hopefully keeping up with as many of you as I can, whether that be on the Xbox One just chilling or if any of you are interested in competing in one of my future tournaments on the MCC. But it terms of racing sadly my chequered flag has already been shown.
Thanks for all the great memories and I hope they'll be plenty more for the rest of you guys in the future.
