What's going on fellow racers in crime? This season I'll be writing newsletters that cover the race summaries of the Grand Prix divisions during the weekends along with future predictions for races in the season.

I'll start with the iconic series on Halo 4 for Xbox 360 that the ORL is known for. Last season saw @dworkinheadracing673 make an astounding come-from-behind victory in the series edging out t3hmightymidg3t by a single point before heading into playoffs, with Unrealiztic & AdamMc66 having a season long battle for third. @dworkinheadracing673 then swept the playoffs to win the Grand Prix title for the division.

Diving into Season X, I am making a no-surprise repeat pick of @dworkinheadracing673 to defend his title, t3hmightymidg3t to take second, Unrealiztic to take third. The same podiums as last season. @dworkinheadracing673 is a hardened veteran when it comes to Grand Prix and he shows it. He's consistent in finishes, and earns it by battling through tough fields of competitors. Many of the tracks being raced in Season X he knows extremely well & just about by heart. t3hmightymidg3t is just an equally skillful racer; however, he's not as consistent & last season shows it. He's going to have to keep it together to win the title. Unrealiztic is also a skilled driver. He just made too many mistakes last season and it cost him some much needed race victories, but look for him to be more determined this season. With returning veteran drivers, and equally determined new rookies it won't be an easy season by any means.

Starting off Season X we'll be racing an all-time classic at Wasteland GP, a playground favored by veteran drivers alike, but yet not an easy battlefield for all. @dworkinheadracing673 won this race last season & more than likely will make another repeat victory. I believe he will find t3hmightymidg3t in a hard fought second, with B2T Kambi in third who is a great driver and no stranger to this series. Driver skill & pit timing will play a big factor on this track.

Much like the other MCC divisions, this Grand Prix division on the Xbox One will feature tracks never before raced in the ORL. Having its first season on MCC, this will be the most exciting division to see if new ORL legends will be born. With H2A having different mongoose physics compared to its Halo 4 counterpart, a mistake could mean the end of someone's race. Race consistency throughout its entirety will be key to taking the title this season, and that being said we could see packs of racers finishing further apart than in the past on Halo 4. Expect to see drivers like t3hmightymidg3t, Unrealiztic, & Miss StarStrukk to be battling for race podiums. With returning Grand Prix veterans like Bug Catcher Bean, BxA Real Deal D, & @mysticfatalzzv2 it won't be an easy season much like the division's Halo 4 twin.

In the first race we will be at Galactica GP, in spaceeeee. I believe t3hmightymidg3t having the home field advantage will take the win. Then Unrealiztic & Miss StarStrukk will be battling for the final podium positions since they've been racing since the end of Season 9 and that will give them the advantage over the other racers since they've been on their own respective hiatuses.

It will certainly be an exciting Season X with lots of battles for positions! Good luck to all the competitors!

Wasteland GP Update:

Despite the connection consistency issues throughout the event, the most competitive division in the ORL had a season opener that didn't disappoint. The expectations for great battles, and constant changing positions continue to get higher with each race and each season. Results were slightly different than expected. t3hmightymidg3t takes a crucial win to start the season as he makes his move to barely best @dworkinheadracing673 on a track he knows well. I KC KONGO I who didn't race at all last season and also not known as a GP racer, made a surprise result as he astounds everyone filling out the rest of the podium. These three are currently the guys to beat, and their skill levels as racers won't make it easy during the rest of the season. Even with only 10 races in the season to scramble for good results, it's still early to say who will win the season. Next week will feature a track known for its rolling hills, and it's fast & technical turns. Both David & Goliath podium'd on this track last season with the professional stalker taking the victory, and lag master Mr Pissed1 holding off the midget who is mighty to take second & third respectively. So expect a "put-em-up" dukes brawl between the three of them again for the win. Poetry aside, also expect to see HunterUnit751 and B2T Kambi give them a run for their money.

For those who care, @dworkinheadracing673 didn't start at the back. You can go ponder the thoughts of the universe now as your mind is blown.

Galactica GP Update:

This could be considered one of the GP greats of MCC; if it weren't for the mountain of a rollover. Jumping this was forbid during the race, as you could potentially land on someone who was a mile ahead of you and cause needless wrecks which would result in more headaches and arguments. It's not the same as on Wasteland. Attendance essentially became sort of a chopping block due to a DNF & a DQ afterwards that cut 8 racers down to 6. With ill happenings aside, Bug Catcher Bean lgndry mstr ef rce, put up a good fight for the lead as he takes a win on the opener. Unrealiztic and t3hmightymidg3t picked up some needed podiums as they finished second and third. All the tracks this season have never been races before in the ORL so it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top. I believe it's very possible to see the same three battling for the lead next week, with racers like I KC KONGO I and B2T Kambi aiming to pick up a win for themselves to climb the leaderboards. Next week will be a track made by yours truly.

Rio Grande GP Update:

Enter screen lag; but this was a more clean, and more exciting race than the previous week. @dworkinheadracing673 won the race as generally expected while t3hmightymidg3t took second, both finishing a decent ways ahead of the rest, which ties them in standings for the lead. HunterUnit751 rounded out the podium this race, also rounding out the podium in standings. What's more interesting about this race was the five man pack battling for the last five positions throughout the second half of the race. Miss StarStrukk won that fight by defending her position very well, not letting anyone pass her. The front runners of the race would constantly look at their radars and view off to the side watching the pack battle it out until the end. Side note, AdamMc66 ain't even mad; he got fourth. So far, @dworkinheadracing673 and t3hmightymidg3t are the favorites to win the title, but enter Race 3, it's still too early to call. Speaking of Race 3, it will take us to a track widely known in the ORL. It's flowing technical turns, along with the famous no fear chicane, will put racers to the test. Veteran drivers will have an easy time on this track, and some might say it can be easy to master and get under ones belt. But, it has a skill gap. A skill gap which separates the men from the @dworkinheadracing673's.

Rev up your engines for the famous Laguna Seca Raceway.

Stratos GP Update:

Due to not having a modified CV ready for use, Jungle Falls was substituted with Stratos. It was still a fun race nonetheless. Bug Catcher Bean picks up another win, undefeated on the season so far. I KC KONGO I places second, which puts him second in the standings. While papaslaunch in his first race of the season rounds out the podium. Unrealiztic finished second last and is somehow third in standings. He is the worst racer I've ever seen. Some serious hax is going on here. By the time you've read up to this point, I'm just kidding and writing pointless banter right now because I can't really think of much at the current moment in time to put in this newsletter. Anyways, due to the track switch, expect to race Jungle Falls; or the next track on the schedule made by the mightiest of midgets.

That track would be Aurora GP.

Laguna Seca GP Update:

Let the two driver battles continue. This was the last race and it came down to the very tip of the wire, as it was oh so close throughout the race. The stage was set, drivers were lined up on point, there was no lag of any sort, and the sticky set blew then off the racers were. Only a few positions changed before the pit box was open to the drivers. To the dismay of the drivers, everyone took their first pit on the same lap! Wow! It was so congested, at least five gooses were accidentally EMP'd! t3hmightymidg3t got upset and parked his goose off the track and started driving a warthog because he could. @dworkinheadracing673 wanted to join in the fun so he jumped in the gauss turret seat. With expert driving and flawless shooting, they took out two drivers in the names of Unrealiztic & Kat2BKittnMe but due to the flagrant trolling they were removed from the game. Everyone eventually wound up taking their second pits. Enter the final lap, four drivers were side by side for the lead and for the championship title! AdamMc66, AlexJ189, B2T Kambi, HunterUnit751 all tied in points standings! They round the starting hairpin 180! They weave through the next turns reaching the backstretch! AlexJ189 takes the lead! Four wide into the chicane, and OH MY GOD B2T Kambi winds up wiping out in the chicane! AdamMc66 picks up massive speed and t-bones HunterUnit751 telling him to suck it and he's gonna win! Due to AlexJ189's steering lock, AdamMc66 and he are side by side once more heading around the last turn! What's this?! Kat2BKittnMe is driving backwards on the track! Is he going to, OH MY WORD! He crosses over and slams into AdamMc66 and takes him off the track! AlexJ189 crosses the finish line, wins the race, and takes the Season 10 Grand Prix Halo 4 Title! What an exciting race folks! I was truly blown away!

Best race ever amiright?

Jungle Falls GP Update:

This race was nothing more than a three-man battle for the win, literally. With not many passing opportunities, the drivers were left to their own ability to push for positions, and timings of their pits. papaslaunch won the day with the win. Unrealiztic came in second, and he didnt like the track because of limited passing opportunities. Just needs to get better is all.  dge came in last, and in the last podium position. However, Unrealiztic is the current points leader, followed by Bug Catcher Bean who is currently undefeated, and papaslaunch rookie of the year in third. Attendance has lowered which means someone could get easy points to help them in the long run. Want to know the next track? Too bad, were on Easter Break! HEADED TO THE BEACH!!

Webber GP Update:

This time we raced on Webber GP by the trio of Unrealiztic, xDOMdaBOMx & C4M3R0N B3CK. Like the previous races this season so far, this was another 8/9 driver battle. And of those drivers, t3hmightymidg3t came away with the no-surprise win. AdamMc66 deciding to finally start putting in work with getting second and his first podium of the season. BxA Real Deal D coming back from his own break in the racing action takes third in his first GP race of the season. Miss StarStrukk does what she does best by defending fourth from everyone else for the entire second half of the race followed closely by Kat2BKittnMe & Unrealiztic who had an unfortunate wreck nearly tossing him into the pits at the start of the race. t3hmightymidg3t sits atop the leaderboard in first with a comfortable lead. AdamMc66 holds second in front of B2T Kambi who sits in third.

Next week we will be racing at Carvotasta GP by Goldliner 49ner.

Nebs GP? Update:

Well there were more drivers than last week. That makes it more fun, right? dge gets the win on his second race of the season and has yet to not place in a podium position. Bug Catcher Bean finally goes without a win but still gets a very respectable second place, also yet to not place outside the podiums. Unrealiztic takes the final podium position and is the one to place outside the podiums getting a fifth in race 2. ImSOshiftfaced comes out with a fiery hot vengeance getting the most clutch fourth place anyone has ever seen. Unrealiztic still is the points leader and is the only one with four races completed. Bug Catcher Bean's return gives him back second place, & dge's win ties him for third with papaslaunch.

I don't know which track exactly will be next.. Soz gaise.

[BxA Real Deal D]

Carvotasta GP Update:

 This week on Halo 4 GP we race on the older but still competitive Carvotasta GP by Goldliner 49ner. This week BxA Real Deal D took home the gold but ended up losing 2 points because of a bad wreck he committed. Miss StarStrukk cruised into 2nd after grabbing an early lead from the race and B2T Kambi fought hard in a huge pack of racers with the likes of AdamMc66 and t3hmightymidg3t  to earn 3rd place. Both Adam and Midget both earned 4th and 5th respectively to round out the top 5. Kat2BKittnMe earns a 6th place finish while Mr Pissed1 lag gets the best of him yet again this race. UncleBlake88 finishes with a DNF aka last place to round out this race.

We had no Halo: MCC Grand Prix race this week due to lack of attendance, Hopefully next week will be a better turnout as we are looking at a double header.  

 

[BxA Real Deal D]

Craptopolis GP:

This week we raced on Craptopolis GP by RomanSoldier35. BxA Real Deal D took the lead lap 1 and never looked back after that grabbing 1st place and the top of the podium. HunterUnit751 battled with t3hmightymidg3t for a short period of time and ended up getting a boost into 2nd place. B2T Kambi also got the same boost after racing alone for the majority of the race as well earning 3rd place and the last step on the podium! Miss StarStrukk Was also by herself the whole race as it looked like she struggled to maintain consistency but that still earned her a solid 4th place. As for our only DQ of the race we had t3hmightymidg3t. He cut the track multiple times during the race and as a result a DQ was put in place. I cannot stress how important it is to stay on the track and hopefully next time this kind of thing will not happen again. Good racing this week everyone!

This week we raced a double header in week 6 due to no race being held the week before.

Race 1: Aurora GP


Race 1 consisted of a few awesome battles! BxA Real Deal D took the lead early and lead the first half of the race before Miss StarStrukk took the lead and raced her way into 1st place! BxA Real Deal D ended up standing his ground after the pass that was made on him earlier and took home 2nd place. B2T Kambi earned the bottom step of the podium after an easy ride into 3rd place. AlexJ189 struggled to keep up and this race and even left to go get food. For that alex took last place.

Race 2: Fossil Canyon GP

This track is made by Miss StarStrukk. The track slayer goes to the track being really high off the ground which calmed a ton of victims! B2T Kambi took the lead about a quarter way into the race and never looked back after that securing his place on the podium and 1st place. BxA Real Deal D had to fight for 2nd place after Miss StarStrukk and AlexJ189 were on his tale the whole race. Miss StarStrukk earned 3rd after just barely loosing to BxA Real Deal D and lastly AlexJ189 unfortunately had a lot of bad luck t words the end of the race and takes another 4th place.
