Hello all. This is Le Star bringing you the stats board for Season 10. Inside you can find a small multitude of stats that show your performance through the various Season 10 divisions, how you match up against your fellow ORL driver companions, and your accomplishments across the season! It currently includes the preseason results posted by MasterKitty (which will be erased once the season starts). So now it's time to break it down. Don't start till the bass drops.
Season 10 Statistics Board
Ratings
Ratings are highly dependent on three different factors: YOUR race performance, YOUR attendance commitment, & YOUR level of competition you bring. You have to win, you have to be present to win, and you have to want to win. The overall driver rating is no more than an average of all divisions that you have participated in. Division ratings are an average of how well you perform across all races in that particular division. However, ratings can come with penalties, such as finishing last. Finishing further down in race standings kills your ratings and hurts it in the long run. Lastly, here's how attendance can affect your rating. In order to avoid any end-season penalties you must have completed seven races (as is the minimum) in a division. If you have 7 races in Grand Prix & 6 races in Rallycross, the one race missed will be treated as a nonexistent last place. This is to prevent people who have a couple podiums in two races from being the big guys on campus. You can't be called the best if you aren't racing with the best. However, if you don't participate in a division then have no worry. No harm, no foul. If you go over the seven race minimum, any extra races will be counted in driver ratings.
Season & Monthly Totals
The more important info out of the way, there will be season and monthly statistics which include all divisions a driver has participated in. Season totals include average race finishing position, total finishes, total podiums & wins, along with race win percentages. Monthly totals have basic info such as points earned, races participated in, podiums, and race wins. A new monthly totals section at the beginning of each month in Season 10. Not much more to say here.
Miscellaneous
The minor details. The stats board is sorted alphabetically by gamertags. To the left and right of those you have the number of which you appear on the stats board (which serves no significance whatsoever), and how many races you have been in as of the last update (also includes DNFs). At the very top there's a small section that has how far into the season the stats board data includes & the date of which it was updated. Lastly, there's a section which shows, across all races participated in, the points per race (races divided by points earned), total points earned, and total points possible.
