I'll go ahead and be able to say all Halo divisions will be getting the shiny treatment. However, some boards might change depending on the type of division itself. It'll require more work on my part and saved films from season races, but it's all for the community to have more. As for divisions on other games... I can't say for sure because I don't know how films and other things will work out. Have fun reading!
Everyone please excuse the incoming wave of NJD's massive boner.
Halo division leaderboards will have two seperate pieces for each division (although all included under a single file); a leaderboard tab for standings & a tab for race stats of each race. Here's what they will entail, and please note this could change depending on because reasons.
Leaderboard Standings
• Positions, Racers, Accounted Points, Average, Total Points, Podiums, Races Attended, Total DNQs; obviously.
• Poles (First place starts as set or determined by holeshots).
• DNFs (Did Not Finish a race for whatever reason).
• Avg Start & Finish (Average Race start and finish positions across all races attended).
• Top 5 & 10s (Total top 5 and top 10 finishes).
• Plus / Minus (Shows racer movement on leaderboard after results are recorded).
Stats Tab
• Each racer will have their own row in the results tab (and of each race) & will consist of the below.
• Laps Completed (Self explanatory).
• Time Elapsed (Total time taken for the racer to cross the start line and cross the finish line).
• Best Lap (Recorded in seconds down to hundredths of a second).
• Errors (Personal errors by the racer across the entire race).
• Start & Finish Position (Self Explanatory).
• Pit / Joker Laps (Laps these are taken if applicable).
Afterwards there will be three row / column thingies that have Leaders (total different race leaders across the race), Lead Changes (total changes in lead position after the first turn), and Total Errors (total errors by all racers).
- Starting Lineups (Graph Form (To show who started where))
- Caution / Red Flag Restart Positions
- Total Number of Cautions
- Total Number of Red Flags
- Cause of Caution / Red Flag Details
I've been thinking a lot about most of this and how to make the leaderboards work accordingly. Hope you all enjoy it when it comes around.
