Hai gois. I've been thinking about this for a long time. After I saw Pancake's post I figured it was the right timing to pull the trigger. So here it goes. Just like Pancake said, I'll keep the "never racing again" speech for later.
I started out in this wonderful league back in Season 4 when there were divisions. A certain day-care owner talked me into joining the ORL. This meant my Global Racing debut. I joined the European division a few races in, which would mean it would be difficult for me to make a comeback in the standings. This GP division seemed cool and I was very nervous doubting if I would perform. Soon after the first double-header I found myself having won my first two ORL races. I was pretty happy and wanted to go on to win the championship. I had a blast in that season and was pretty nervous for the Season 4 GP Overall Championship. People were doubting if I could compare to other drivers who were in different divisions, because the European Division was seen as a scrub division. I wound up winning the championship after a hard-fought battle with the one and only XraignZ. I enjoyed the racing and kept racing in Season 5.
Season 5 marked a season where the European division was considered the most stacked GP division. I kept my head up and performed really well while have a ton of fun with people such as Dawson, elpmeT, and Fugly.
Season 6 was the first season with the new format. We had heats, LCQs and Main Events. Besides that a new idea was added to GP, pit stops. This would turn out to be a great addition to Grand Prix racing in the ORL. I loved all of these ideas and it certainly improved the racing quality in GP. This would prove to be my best season as I would win my first 8 races after hard fought battles with the GP legend t3hmightymidg3t. After this season I already contemplated leaving the ORL on a high point. FOR GLOBAL!
Then we all know what happened, the Outlaw Racing League saw it's disappearance. The Unrela took an opportunity and continued the ORL on this new website and league, the Octane Racing League. I was soon appointed as Unreal's right hand man and I accepted the job. This season 7 started out great with a ton of fun in all the series I participated in. But later in the season it started to fade, after I had my ups and downs. GTA V turned out to be the funnest series I had participated in yet. Shout out to Cassel for winning that championship fair and square. Before the season started, Pancake contacted me about creating a team together. I was happy to accept after Global was disbanded. We continued to create Splash Racing (With credit to Pancake as he did most). This team truly had not only some of the best racers, but also friends in this community. I will continue to make it splash!
Now, I have decided to stop my racing career much like Pancake has. Also like Pancake, I will still be around in the community as an admin (Hopefully). After this community has given me so much entertainment, it is time for me to stop. This was bound to happen some time, and I figured this was the right time. I will still talk to you guys and hopefully manage a series or 2 next season. Also like Pancake, I'll still keep racing in our friendly affiliate Halo Racing community; Halotracks. My attention will be towards squads such as HTSX, HT Velocity, HT Terrain and possibly HT Demo.
This is a thank you to all of you, who have made me have fun here . This community will always have a place with me.
Don't worry, it's ok to cry now
