ORL Update #1

Just an Update for everything besides the actual racing part for The ORL.


Season Series
First, the final two weeks of all series are coming up very soon with the first being this upcoming weekend and the next following in suit. A lot of the divisions are coming down to these ever so pivotal pair of races.

SX: Pancake and Sodapop Remix.
GP: Gogetarulez and a very slim chance Unrealiztic.
MT: standbyluke7, Offrce, and a slim chance King Edward I.
MW: This division is about said and done. Congrats to King Edward I.
RC: Same as MW for this. Congrats to Gogetarulez.
RX: A very close series where it will come down to the wire with Unrealiztic, HunterUnit751, Bug Catcher Bean, and @xnjd1x.
GTA5: Looks like a two horse battle between xDOMdaBOMx and Casselfied with a slight chance for Gogetarulez.
HR: Down to the ORL classic division this will be down to the wire with Pancake and Sodapop Remix just like MX.


Popular Driver
Second, considering it's the end of the we are currently doing seasonally event of figuring out the most popular driver in the ORL. This event has been going on ever since Season 2 of the ORL way back in our first stint with the Halo Reach. Some of the former winners consist of Mr Stylisin the first driver to ever have a perfect season, XreignZ which is the Former owner and staff member of this great league, and Your current league owner and defending Popular driver Unrealiztic! <----He's so cute. If you would like to get in on the action and betrayals in the Popular driver then simply just wait one or two days as there will be a new post every so often. For the current group Click This or just go to the Octane Paddock for the current groups. Want to see how your doing? If in fact you are still in the tourney  then you should be in one of the newest group post about it. Or, if you might have been eliminated then go Check Here.



Season 7 Postseason
Next, the Postseason will consist of three weeks in chronological order Team Championships (March 20th - 23rd), All-Star Events (March 27th - 30th), Driver Invitational (April 3rd - 6th). All three Weekends details will be announced very soon. Meanwhile you can vote on the Team Championships Tracks for all divisions Here. Not much more to say here except that your not going to want to miss these three action filled weekends.



Season 8 Divisions
I have been hearing a lot of request for divisions for next season unfortunately we only have enough time slots for seven to nine. Which obviously means about three quarters of the divisions will not be raced in Season 8. Still, we don't know what divisions driver would be the most interested in therefore we would like if you go vote Here. Pancake has also taken the initiative to go further and post a thread dedicated to a possible and rumored division for Season 8 Arena cross in This Thread Here. We have a lot of time to discuss divisions and think of divisions so please do send one or two of the staff members a P.M. about your idea. Also if you want your tracks in Season 8 and your an unknown forger please post your tracks in This Thread. One more thing the 8th ORL Season will be starting May 15th - 18th.



Hall of Fame
At the end of Season 7 Postseason we will be nominating 10 drivers that have at least 30 races completed into the first seasonal ORL Hall of Fame. It should be exciting to see who gets in there. Lots of good drivers.


Octane Music
Octane Racing has another side to it which would be the music side besides the fact that I have been a club DJ for almost going on three years. We have two Plug.dj music groups. Octane Racing Music and Octane Racing League. We also have a thread devoted just to posting your very favorite song. YouTube and SoundCloud music thread.


Our Affiliates
Lastly, our amazing partners HaloTracks! There HTSX season is starting this Saturday and it would be nice if you were to go make a profile and go race in HTSX or DRL this weekend.

Noice update. Good read. In MT however, Luke does have it clinched as I won't be able to make it to the race on Friday. Congrats Luke!
